The history behind Holmes Cay Rum

Eric Kaye founded the company in 2019. The founder saw an opportunity to introduce cask strength rums without additives to the US market. He envisioned the introduction of hard-to-obtain expressions in rum that were expertly aged and finished. Instead, these rums would be ones he encountered in the Caribbean. Since that time, Holmes Cay has brought out several highly regarded rums in a small batch and limited-run series sold without any additives.

What makes Holmes Cay unique?

The rums come from a variety of Caribbean and Central American distilleries, which give the entire series a distinctive flavor and feel to each rum. The rums are also very highly aged and finished using expert processes at the distilleries. As a result, the distinct flavors and ingredients are used to bring out their uniqueness in the best possible ways.

The single batch, limited edition rums have become highly popular with discerning rum drinkers worldwide. Combining multiple casks and production styles, Holmes Cay produces exciting expressions in each rum variant.
