About TX Whiskey

Firestone and Robertson’s distillery is one of the largest distilleries in Mississippi, United States.  The distillery was incepted in 2010 and officially launched the brand in 2012.

TX whiskey got the Double Gold in 2013 and the best “American Craft whiskey” in the prestigious San Francisco world spirits competition. They do not operate a separate distillation unit; instead, they blend the sampling from local distilleries to make their product. The Paris-based Pernod Ricard acquired Firestone and Robertson distilling and Co company in 2019.

The History behind TX Whiskey

Leonard Firestone and Troy Robertson created TX whiskey in 2010. They started the distillation unit in a pre-prohibition-era warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. The founders created a unique blend of whiskey along with the head distiller, Rob Arnold. After in-depth research, they derived a special distiller yeast from the Pecan Tree, Texas state’s national tree.

The founders took great care in creating a unique bottle with a touch of Texas heritage. The bottle caps were made using leather in a five-step creation process. First, they used different colors of leather and exotic skins, determined the cock size, and hammered the custom-made wood ring over the leather to secure it. Troy Robertson designed the original prototype of the caps.

The TX whiskey bottle has a one-of-a-kind handcrafted cap made of reclaimed cowboy boot leather. In addition, each bottle has a canvas neck wrap as a tribute to the Canvas chuck wagons of Texas.

They printed the name and the clover design on a silver band at the bottom of the bottle. The clover design resembles the boot stitch pattern on cowboy boots which reflects the Texas heritage. It also has belt buckles and Texan silver spurs.

Why is TX Whiskey So Popular?

The rugged elegance of the handmade boot leather and canvas neck wraps bottle makes it super attractive. A blend of unique spirits makes this TX blended whiskey one-of-a-kind in the spirits’ market. The super-premium whiskey blended by skilled Texan artisans gives an exquisite taste and extraordinary experiences to alcohol lovers. They preserve the Texan roots and taste in the distillation processes and produce a high-quality product representing the western culture. It is one of the famous whiskey brands in the world.
