Forty Creek Barrel Select Canadian Whiskey

Forty Creek Barrel Select Canadian Whiskey is a blend of various grain whiskeys aged in a mix of seasoned ex-Bourbon barrels and new American white oak barrels. The Barrel Select Whiskey has unique flavors and a full-bodied profile.

The barrel select is a blended Canadian Whiskey that is made with the mash bill containing rye, barley, and corn. The grains are fermented and distilled separately to produce the single grain whiskeys. This spirit is distilled using a small batch, copper pot still, and the whiskies are aged for 6 to 10 years in the barrels.

The warm gold color whiskey has aromas of honey, vanilla, apricot, black walnut, spices, and toasted oak. Its palate includes rich and complex flavors of vanilla, honey, cocoa, along with a hint of toasted earthiness. The drink gives a smooth lingering finish. It has 40% ABV.

This Whiskey has been awarded the gold medal at the New York international spirits competition in 2020. It is available in sizes of 375 ml, 750 ml, 1140 ml, and 1750 ml. The drink costs $28 for a 750 ml bottle.
